Russian Standard and Zubrówka celebrate wins at IWSC 2021
A testament to their premium quality and superb taste, globally iconic brands Russian Standard Original, Russian Standard Gold and Russian Standard Platinum and Żubrówka Bison Grass have all been awarded medals at this year's International Wine and Spirit Competition; Żubrówka Bison Grass took home the Gold medal, Russian Standard Original and Russian Standard Gold won Silver medals and Russian Standard Platinum achieved Bronze in meticulous judging sessions. The International Wine and Spirits Competition has been tasting and reviewing the world’s finest spirits for over 50 years. In that time, it has earned a reputation for innovation and engagement, as well as for unbiased, meticulous and authoritative judging. The International Wine and Spirits Competition Judges are world-renowned experts from across the global spirits trade. Many judges are also distillers themselves, providing a unique opportunity for independent peer feedback. They use the ‘double-blind’ method, which means samples are tasted in pre-poured numbered glasses to ensure their spirit experts never see a bottle. Each spirit is judged by a whole panel in sync, allowing for group discussions.
